Peab's construction operations in Uppsala are growing, and we are looking for a construction engineer to join our wonderful project manager team. About the position

As a construction engineer, you will work broadly as project support. With us, you are a key person who contributes to ensuring that everything runs smoothly in production together with the site manager and support functions. The role involves supporting the project based on their needs. The work may include production planning, project economics, contract administration, as well as cost estimation and bidding work. You will participate in purchasing, attend construction meetings, liaise with client representatives, and manage financial settlements with clients and subcontractors.
The role also includes actively working with KMA issues, where you contribute to ensuring that our projects meet applicable requirements, routines, and goals, and drive improvement work together with the project organization.

We operate throughout Uppsala County, so you need to be prepared for our projects to be located in this area. Uppsala is in an expansive phase, and we want to strengthen our organization. You will belong to our project manager group in Uppsala, which is part of Peab Construction Region East, and report to project manager Joachim Branteström.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education, preferably with a focus on construction, or equivalent knowledge acquired through extensive work experience. You have at least 5 years of experience in construction operations, such as a construction engineer, site manager, cost engineer, or project manager.

You have experience working with quantity-regulated contracts and good knowledge of AMA and MER, as well as cost estimation work. You should have practical experience in forecasting and project economics. You have an interest in KMA issues. Since the position involves supporting production in various projects, it is a requirement that you have a driver's license B.

To thrive in the role, you enjoy meeting new people and have good social skills. You are communicative, engaged, analytical, solution-oriented, meticulous, and have a pronounced business sense.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience with quantity-regulated contracts
• Good knowledge of AMA and MER
• Practical experience in forecasting and project economics

• Driver's license B (required)
